Azerbaijani homosexuals seek recognition through courts

LGBT Alliance "Nefes" intends to file a lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice in connection with the refusal of state registration.A statement of the alliance indicates that the appeal of the registration was filed in the Office of Registration and Notary of Justice on May 19. However, no response even rejection has been reported ever since. In this regard, the alliance intends to file a lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice.At the same time, the LGBT community is concerned with the shortage of lawyers willing to volunteer to help the alliance.The Alliance requests support from international organizations and pressure on the government to fulfill the country's obligations.
