Venues of inaugural Baku European Games 2015 - PHOTO

The Baku Shooting Centre is a 30-minute drive west of the Athletes Village. The existing venue will receive a permanent upgrade as part of the legacy of the European Games.

The National Aquatics Centre and Baku Gymnastics Arena will be located adjacent to the Azizbekov Roundabout at the northern entrance to Baku city center, right next to Azizbekov Metro Station. A 40-storey office tower occupies the corner plot and serves as a landmark for this Olympic venue. Within this high-density urban environment the unique architectural leitmotif will be the ornamental pattern already introduced in the Olympic Park layout. A flowing texture of different materials, facades, roofs and pavements will form a diversified entity embracing the entire venue ensemble.
