The U.S. Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on six entities and six individuals in China and Iran for their roles in a network supplying missile fuel components to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the department said in a statement.

“Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned six entities and six individuals in Iran and the People’s Republic of China for their involvement in procuring missile propellant components for the IRGC,” the press release said.

Among the sanctioned entities is Saman Tejarat Barman Trading Company (STB) in Iran, which acquired sodium perchlorate from Shenzhen Amor Logistics Co Ltd in China. Both firms were added to the U.S. sanctions list, along with six individuals associated with STB.

Dongying Weiaien Chemical Co Ltd, a Chinese supplier of dioctyl sebacate to STB, was also sanctioned.

In addition, the U.S. targeted Yanling Chuanxing Chemical Plant General Partnership, which supplied sodium chlorate, as well as affiliated firms China Chlorate Tech Co Limited and Yanling Lingfeng Chlorate Co Ltd, citing financial and personnel links.
