Turkish FM voices solidarity with Pakistan amid tensions with India

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke by phone with his Pakistani counterpart, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, to express Ankara’s solidarity with Islamabad amid rising tensions with India, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
According to the statement, Fidan condemned what he called India’s “unprovoked aggression,” which he said violates Pakistan’s sovereignty and causes civilian casualties.
He also expressed concern over the deteriorating regional security situation. Both ministers agreed to remain in close contact as developments unfold.
