Turkish court blocks İmamoğlu’s X account

A Turkish court has ordered the nationwide blocking of former Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu’s account on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), as part of an ongoing investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, NTV Türkiye reported.

The decision was communicated to both the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) and the X platform, leading to the restriction being enforced within Turkey.

The account remains accessible from abroad.
