Trump says Putin praised Melania during phone call

U.S. President Donald Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin complimented First Lady Melania Trump during a phone conversation. 

According to Fox News, Trump shared the anecdote during a speech at the White House.

“Putin told me, ‘Your wife is highly respected.’ I asked, ‘What about me?’ He said, ‘No, Melania is more admired,’” Trump said jokingly.
