UAE-linked tanker possibly seized off Iran’s coast

A Panama-flagged tanker linked to the United Arab Emirates may have been seized about 51 nautical miles (94.5 km) northwest of the Iranian port of Jask on the Gulf of Oman, the UK maritime security firm Ambrey said on Wednesday.

The vessel’s crew issued a distress radio message reporting the seizure. Further details have not yet been released.
