Armenia ready to host next ministerial meeting in 3+3 format

Armenia has confirmed its readiness to host the next ministerial meeting in the 3+3 format, a commitment originally announced in 2024.
According to anews, citing Armenian media, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Armenia declared its willingness to host the next ministerial meeting during the third consultative platform meeting in the 3+3 format held in Istanbul on October 18, 2024.
The foreign ministry added that the public will be informed in a timely manner once the date and location of the meeting are finalized.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan that the third meeting in the 3+3 format on South Caucasus issues is currently being prepared. According to Lavrov, Moscow has proposed hosting upcoming sessions in Baku and Yerevan.
