Armenian PM fires head of national security service

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has dismissed Armen Abazyan, the head of the National Security Service (NSS), local media reported on Wednesday.

The dismissal was formalized through an official decree signed by the prime minister, according to Armenian press reports. No reason for the decision was immediately provided.
