Israel launches new wave of airstrikes on Iran

Israel has launched a fresh wave of airstrikes on Iran, focusing on military targets in Tehran and western regions of the country, according to Israeli military sources.

Brigadier General Efi Defrin of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the third wave of strikes on Wednesday targeted western Iran. "The Israeli Air Force is conducting flights over missile storage facilities and launch platforms where ground-to-ground rockets are stationed," he said.

Earlier, the IDF reported that 60 Israeli fighter jets had struck more than 20 military sites in Tehran.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ press office confirmed ongoing aerial operations against targets in the Iranian capital and across other parts of the country.
