Iran’s Araghchi arrives in Istanbul for OIC meeting

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Turkey on Friday to attend a meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which was convened at Tehran’s request in response to Israeli strikes on Iran, Tasnim news agency reported.

“I will take this opportunity to meet with foreign ministers, the OIC Secretary General, and the President of Turkey. I hope the attacks on our territory will be properly addressed and the voice of the Iranian people will be heard — our defense is legitimate,” Araghchi said upon arrival in Istanbul.
