Drones shot down near Rasht in northern Iran – official

Several drones were shot down near the northern Iranian city of Rasht, the deputy governor of Gilan Province said late Tuesday.

The attack occurred about an hour earlier and was successfully repelled by air defense forces, the official stated. All drones were destroyed.

The origin of the drones was not disclosed.
