Israel launches ‘Black Flag’ military operation against Houthis in Yemen

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced on Sunday the launch of a new military operation dubbed “Black Flag” targeting the Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.
According to the Ministry of Defense, Israeli Air Force carried out more than 20 airstrikes on Houthi positions in the ports of Hodeidah, As-Salif, and Ras Isa, as well as on the Ras Katib power station and the Galaxy Leader vessel, which was seized by the Houthis two years ago and is allegedly being used for terrorist activity.
Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee had earlier issued a warning on X in Arabic, urging civilians to evacuate from the targeted areas.
“If Houthi missile attacks persist, Yemen will face the same fate as Tehran,” Gallant warned.
