Aliyev offers condolences to Trump over deadly Texas floods

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to U.S. President Donald Trump following deadly floods in the state of Texas.

“We are deeply saddened by the news of numerous casualties and destruction caused by severe flooding in Texas. On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my heartfelt condolences to you, the families of the victims, and the American people. I wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” Aliyev wrote.
