U.S. President Donald Trump has approved his first weapons shipment to Ukraine since returning to office, using presidential drawdown authority (PDA), Reuters reported citing sources.

The package, worth about $300 million, is expected to include Patriot missiles and other arms. Previous deliveries were based on Biden-era approvals.

The move signals Trump’s increased interest in backing Ukraine, sources said.

Under the Foreign Assistance Act, such aid can be dispatched within days or even hours after approval.
