Russian soldier stationed in Armenia shoots himself

A Russian serviceman at the 102nd military base in Armenia has reportedly shot himself, according to local outlet Factor.am.

The soldier, identified as 22-year-old Alexey G., sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to a medical facility in Gyumri. He underwent surgery and is currently in a coma, with his condition described as critical.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
