Delivery of Patriot systems to Ukraine will take months

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said the delivery of the first U.S.-made Patriot system to Ukraine, as announced by President Donald Trump, will take several months.

A decision on two systems is expected in the coming weeks. The Pentagon could not clarify whether Trump referred to 17 batteries or 17 missiles, suggesting reporters contact the White House.

Trump earlier said that "some of them will arrive within days."
