Netflix reportedly ends $100 million deal with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Netflix is reportedly ending its multi-year $100 million content deal with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as their partnership nears expiration this fall, U.S. media reported Thursday.

The couple’s collaboration with Netflix, which began with promises of major Hollywood success, has failed to generate the expected audience. Meghan’s lifestyle series reportedly ranked 383rd on the platform, while Harry’s polo documentary was placed outside the top 3,000.

Sources cited by U.S. entertainment outlets said the decision was made without acrimony. “No hard feelings, but no one’s interested anymore,” one insider said.

The end of the Netflix deal comes after Spotify also terminated its agreement with the couple in 2023. Reports suggest financial pressures are mounting for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who reside in a multimillion-dollar mansion in Montecito, California.
