Yerevan seeks closer ties with Washington in energy and defense

Armenia hopes to deepen cooperation with the United States in the fields of economy, energy, and defense, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan said during a meeting with members of the U.S.-based Judeo-Christian alliance Save Armenia.
Grigoryan welcomed the delegation's visit and stressed its importance for the future of U.S.-Armenian relations, citing potential areas of cooperation ranging from trade and economic ties to energy diversification and possible defense collaboration.
He also briefed the guests on the ongoing normalization process between Yerevan and Baku.
