Armenian PM to skip Eurasian intergovernmental council meeting in Kyrgyzstan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not attend a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, on Aug. 14-15, his press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan said on Tuesday.
Baghdasaryan said Pashinyan will be on leave from Aug. 12 to 15. Armenia will be represented at the meeting by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
The agenda includes the development programme for exchange trading within the EAEU, the bloc’s transport policy for 2024-2026, and a concept for a common market for medicines and medical devices, among other issues.
