Israeli deputy envoy completes diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan

 Israel’s Deputy Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yoav Bistritski, has concluded his two-year diplomatic mission in Baku.

In a message posted on the X platform, Bistritski described Azerbaijan as his “second home” and thanked the country for its hospitality. He also expressed gratitude to former Ambassador George Deek and the embassy team for their efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.

While he confirmed a new diplomatic assignment, Bistritski did not disclose further details about his next post.

On August 1, 2025, Israel’s new ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ronen Kraus, presented a copy of his credentials to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
