Czech Republic delivered 1 million shells to Ukraine in 2025

The Czech Republic has delivered 1 million artillery shells to Ukraine in 2025 as part of the Czech Ammunition Initiative, Prime Minister Petr Fiala said on Wednesday.
Fiala noted that since the initiative began in April 2024, over 1.5 million shells have been sent to support Ukraine’s military needs. The program involves purchasing ammunition, including anonymously from third countries, and delivering it to Ukrainian forces.
Czech President Petr Pavel previously said the initiative aims to supply at least 1.8 million shells to Ukraine in 2025.
