Ukraine cancels visa-free travel memorandum with Iran

Ukraine’s cabinet has terminated a memorandum of understanding with Iran on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic and service passports, a government representative said on Wednesday.
Taras Melnychuk, the cabinet’s envoy to parliament, wrote on Telegram that the 1993 agreement signed in Kyiv had been annulled.
Ukraine last November also cancelled a 1993 air services agreement with Tehran, accusing Iran of supporting Russia in its war against Ukraine.
