Turkey to deliver three more MILGEM warships to Pakistan

Turkey and Pakistan signed the final protocol of the 16th session of their Joint Intergovernmental Commission, deepening cooperation in trade, energy, investment, transport and logistics, Turkish media reported.

The two sides reaffirmed plans to raise bilateral trade to $5 billion. Turkish investments in Pakistan’s economy have already exceeded $2 billion, according to the report.

Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler said Ankara will soon deliver three additional vessels to Pakistan under the joint MILGEM naval project.
