Ukraine sounds air raid alert as Russia launches Shahed drones

Ukraine declared air raid alerts in Kyiv and several regions late on Monday due to the threat of Russian attack drones, the air force said.

The air force reported Shahed drones in Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Rivne regions.

Kyiv’s military administration said the capital was under alert because of hostile drones.
