NATO strengthens Baltic Sea mission

NATO was reinforcing its Baltic Sentry mission in the Baltic Sea after drones entered Danish airspace, disrupting airports and raising concern within the alliance, NATO said in it`s statement.

The statement said NATO would “increase vigilance and deploy new multi-domain assets” in the region.

Plans include the use of reconnaissance and surveillance platforms, as well as the deployment of at least one air-defense frigate.
