Turkish Airlines expected to enter Armenia soon – lawmaker

Armenian ruling party lawmaker Sarkis Khandanyan said Turkish Airlines is preparing to launch flights to Yerevan, though no exact date has been set.

He told reporters the issue had long been delayed for political reasons but was discussed at the latest meeting of special envoys from Armenia and Turkey.

“We see that Turkish Airlines announced plans to start flights to Yerevan. I don’t know when exactly, but it will happen soon,” he said.
