5.4-magnitude earthquake strikes Kyrgyzstan

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 struck Kyrgyzstan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The epicenter was located about 83 kilometers south of the Kazakh city of Taraz, which has a population of over 350,000.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
