SOCAR eyes Lukoil refinery in Bulgaria – source

Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR is interested in acquiring Lukoil’s oil refinery in Bulgaria, a source familiar with the matter told Trend.

According to the report, SOCAR has formed a consortium with Turkey’s Cengiz Holding to bid for the refinery located in the city of Burgas.

Other potential bidders reportedly include global trader Vitol, Hungary’s MOL Group, Kazakhstan’s national oil company KazMunayGaz, and Turkey’s pension fund OYAK.
