All Israeli hostages freed under Hamas deal

All remaining Israeli hostages held by Hamas since October 2023 have been freed and handed over to Israel through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The Israeli military said a second group of 13 people arrived after the first seven earlier in the day. Among those released was Donbas-born civilian Maxim Kharkin.

In return, Israel has begun releasing more than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners, including 250 convicted of terrorism.
