Zelenskiy arrives in U.S. to meet Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has arrived in the United States, with his plane landing at Andrews Air Force Base, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
On Oct. 17, Zelenskiy is due to meet U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House to discuss possible ways to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict, strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, and the potential supply of Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv.
Trump earlier said he had held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin and would brief Zelenskiy on the outcome during their meeting.
