Lukashenko seeks meeting with Zelenskiy

Belarus’ State Security Committee is working on the possibility of contacts between President Alexander Lukashenko and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the committee’s head Ivan Tertel said on state TV channel Belarus 1.
“We believe it is necessary to meet and find consensus. But much depends on the Ukrainian side,” Tertel said.
Lukashenko has repeatedly expressed readiness for a personal meeting with Zelenskiy, saying he wanted to “just talk.”
