Israel halts strikes on Gaza, says ceasefire restored

The Israeli military said it has resumed adherence to the Gaza ceasefire following political directives and after carrying out a wave of strikes in response to Hamas violations.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it would continue to honor the ceasefire agreement but would retaliate if it is breached again.
Earlier, the IDF said it carried out airstrikes on dozens of Hamas-linked sites, including weapons depots, military infrastructure, and armed groups.
Local hospital officials in Gaza reported that three people were killed and others wounded in a strike on a school sheltering refugees.
