Senator Graham: Putin must feel the cost of war

 U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said it was time for Russian President Vladimir Putin to “feel the cost” of his desire to continue the war, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

“I appreciate President Trump and his team’s sincere efforts to stop the bloodshed in Ukraine. Ending the war will require agreement from both sides. Ukraine has accepted President Trump’s proposal for a ceasefire, while Russia clearly insists on continuing the fighting. Now it’s time for Putin to feel the cost of his relentless desire to prolong this conflict,” Graham wrote on X.

Graham is a co-author of a bill introducing secondary sanctions against buyers of Russian oil.
