Russia launches drone attack on Kyiv, air raid alert declared

An air raid alert was declared in Kyiv after Russian drones were detected approaching the Ukrainian capital, the city administration and the Air Force said on Telegram.

Air defense systems were activated to intercept the drones as they moved from the north toward the city. Residents were urged to stay in shelters.

Local media later reported explosions and falling debris in three locations, one of which was believed to be near a kindergarten. Casualty reports were being verified.
