Israel carries out heavy airstrikes on Gaza, several killed – reports

Israeli airstrikes hit several areas in Gaza late on Monday, killing at least five people and injuring four others in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in the south of Gaza City, the civil defense service said.

Among the injured was a child, and four people sustained injuries of varying severity, according to the statement.

Al Jazeera reported that Israeli warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes across Gaza, including one targeting the Al-Shifa medical complex in the city’s north. Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen said the Shati refugee camp, located west of Gaza, was also bombed.
