Zelenskiy announces mass production of Flamingo cruise missiles
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Monday that the country will begin mass production of its domestically developed “Flamingo” cruise missiles by the end of 2025.
Zelenskiy said Ukraine is “progressing quite well” in developing long-range weapons already used against Russian forces. He also noted that Neptune anti-ship missiles are being produced in serial quantities and deployed in both standard and extended-range versions.
The president added that Ukraine had carried out large-scale retaliatory strikes in recent months following Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure.
