Deputy head of Azerbaijan Journalists’ Union Shahin Babayev dies at 61

Shahin Babayev, deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Journalists’ Union, has died of a heart attack at the age of 61.

He passed away on the evening of November 11, according to local media.

A farewell ceremony will be held at Heydar Mosque at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by burial at the Qurd Qapısı cemetery in Baku.
