Azerbaijani flag raised in downtown Philadelphia

The Azerbaijani national flag was raised in front of Philadelphia City Hall in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Washington said.

The initiative aims to promote national sovereignty and strengthen Azerbaijan’s international visibility, according to the embassy statement.

The event coincides with Azerbaijan’s Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty, declared for 2025 by President Ilham Aliyev.
