U.S. President Donald Trump plans to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland in 2026, Bloomberg reported, citing a source familiar with the matter.

The move signals improving ties between the U.S. and Switzerland amid ongoing talks over a bilateral trade agreement.

Trump is expected to travel to Davos with a large delegation, after joining the 2025 WEF via video conference.

“The World Economic Forum has invited G20 heads of state and government, including President Trump, to the 2026 annual meeting. The confirmed list of participants will be published one week before the event,” the WEF said in a statement.
