Foreign nationals will be able to use SİMA İmza without visiting Azerbaijan

Technical preparations are underway to allow foreign citizens to access the SİMA İmza digital signature service remotely, Tamerlan Mashadigasenli, head of product and service development at AzInTelecom, said at the IX International Banking Forum.

He noted that citizens of European, Asian and African countries will be able to register through the SİMA mobile app using their passport or national ID, without travelling to Azerbaijan. The service is currently in the testing phase and will be fully launched after successful trials.
