Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy may travel to the United States this week to discuss a possible war settlement with President Donald Trump, CBS reported, citing U.S. and Ukrainian sources.

The visit will depend on the outcome of Nov. 23 peace talks in Geneva involving Ukraine, the EU and the U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the meeting “the most productive so far” and said a phone call between Zelenskiy and Trump was possible.

Washington and Brussels have presented their own versions of a peace plan. Trump earlier set Nov. 27 as the deadline for Ukraine to agree to a deal.
