Khamenei: US is “not worthy of negotiating with us”
28.11.2025 12:27

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said the United States and Israel “left empty-handed” after the 12-day conflict with Iran and strikes on its nuclear sites, despite Tehran suffering painful losses.

Khamenei called the current US leadership “war-mongers” and said Iran does not consider the American administration “worthy of negotiations.” He dismissed reports that Tehran had sent a message to Washington through a third country, calling them “complete lies.”

He added that Iran should refrain from any contact with the US at this stage, and accused Washington of igniting a “costly and futile war” in Ukraine.
