When will Armenia complete its new constitution?

Armenia’s new constitution is expected to be finalized by March 2026, Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan announced at a meeting of the Constitutional Reform Council.

She said the Ministry of Justice had committed to finishing the draft on schedule. Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan proposed holding a referendum on the new constitution after the parliamentary elections, scheduled for June 2026.

According to him, this approach will allow political parties to present their positions to the public, with the winning party playing a decisive role in shaping the final draft.
