ChatGPT faces global outage, reports show

OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot experienced widespread outages, according to data from Downdetector, with the highest number of complaints – more than 2,300 – coming from users in the United States.

Downdetector said 62% of users reported website access issues, 32% experienced service disruptions, and 6% were unable to log into the app. Nearly 32,000 people reported problems across various OpenAI services.

The disruptions were also observed in Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan and several other countries.
