Former Azerbaijan prosecutor general Zakir Garalov makes first public appearance in years

Former Azerbaijan prosecutor general Zakir Garalov has made his first public appearance in years, Lent.az reported. He was seen at the Alley of Honor alongside former first deputy prosecutor general Rustam Usubov and former press secretary Eldar Sultanov.

The group reportedly paid tribute to national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Garalov served as prosecutor general from 2000 to 2020. This was his first public appearance since stepping down.

Azerbaijan’s current prosecutor general is Kamran Aliyev.
