President Aliyev replaces head of Baku metro

President Ilham Aliyev decreed today to replace Tagi Ahmadov, head of the Baku metro, by Zaur Huseynov.

Ahmadov had been in the post since 1998.

He was known for his rude treatment of journalists.

According to the presidential decree posted on Aliyev’s official website, a closed-type stock company will be set up to run the Baku metro.
