Police arrest 8 suspects in deadly Azerbaijan shooting

Police arrested eight suspectsin an armed incident in the northwestern Zaqatala District that left threepeople dead and one injured last week.
A German-made assaultrifle, five hand grenades, a large number of ammunition and 8 kg of drugs werefound during a search of the suspects’ houses, the Ministry of Interior said ina statement.
The suspects wereidentified as Samir Osmanov, Vusal Aliqayev, Parviz Qarayev, Aydin Sayilov,Omar Orucov, Bahruz Layicov and his two brothers Vuqar and Eldaniz Layicovs.
The motive of the killingsis not yet clear.
