Azerbaijan’s defense minister: 'Staff changes will continue'

“Staff changes at the Defense Ministry will be continued,” Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, who is visiting Russia’s capital, told exclusively APA’s Moscow correspondent.

Hasanov also commented on reappointment of servicemen dismissed during the term of former Defense Minister, Colonel General Safar Abiyev.

General noted that new appointments aren’t related with their dismissal: “After conducting research, we will invite dismissed servicemen who are physically able to serve and have military experience. Some servicemen will return to military service henceforth.”
