Azerbaijan cuts gas exports to Russia 85% last year

Azerbaijan reduced natural gas exports to Russia last year, Trend news agency reported, citing an official at the state energy company SOCAR.

Exports fell to 207 million cubic meters last year from 1.37 billion cubic meters in 2013, the unnamed official said.

The drop was caused by infrastructure projects being carried out along the route of the pipeline and also repairs of the pipeline, according to the official.
